The Nascar Crown Royal Presents the Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard 2016 NASCAR action at IMS will culminate with the 23rd running of the Crown Royal Presents the Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard featuring the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series including four-time Brickyard 400 winner Jimmie Johnson, defending Crown Royal 400 at the Brickyard champion Kyle Busch, two-time winner Tony Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Danica Patrick.
While taking his 100th jump at Skydive Suffolk, retired Navy SEAL Jason Redman was announced as the winner of Crown Royal’s “Your Hero’s Name Here” program, which awards a deserving hero naming rights to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Redman chose to name the race not after himself, but after his charity instead, the Combat Wounded Coalition.
Redman witnessed the reveal of the official race logo, painted in the landing area at Skydive Suffolk, from mid-air as he approached the ground. After his jump, Redman was greeted by a special celebration with friends and family at the hangar.
On race day, Redman will receive a VIP at-track experience and hand the trophy bearing his charity’s name to the race winner in Victory Lane.
